Standard features in the BMW X6 xDrive35i include 19-inch wheels, front and rear parking sensors, power tailgate, sunroof, automatic and adaptive bi-xenon lights, fog lights, automatic wipers, cruise control, seat 10-way power front, heated front seats, driver memory functions, leather upholstery, power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, iDrive electronics interface and a 10-speaker sound system with CD player, iPod / USB adapter and HD radio. Apart from its twin-turbo V8, the xDrive50i adds 14-way-adjustable front seats, BMW Assist emergency telematics, Bluetooth and a navigation system with voice control and real time traffic. These other items are available as an option on this BMW X6 xDrive35i.
BMW X6 2012 is offered with a choice of Powertrains. 35i features turbo-charged 6-cylinder engine rated 300 horsepower. 50i which utilizes a twin-turbo 4.4L V8 capable of 400 horsepower. 4.4L V8 hybrid X6 combines with 84 horsepower electric motor and batteries, which BMW calls Active Hybrid. In the end, the X6 M comes with a tuned version of the 4.4L V8, making 555 horsepower. The 35i and 50i X6s equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic manual mode and steering wheel paddle change. Hybrids use a version of 7-speed Steptronic transmission, while the M gets a 6-speed automatic.

Package active seat ventilation added automatically adjusts the drivers seat bolsters, seat-ventilated and perforated leather seats. Rear Climate Package, available in glass, BMW X6 35i and 50i, adding a 4-zone climate control, dark color rear side window guides. Sport Package, also available in a choice, 35i and 50i adding a 19 - or 20-inch wheels, upgraded suspension and Active Hardware darker interior and exterior trim.
The 2012 BMW X6 xDrive35i is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 that produces 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. As with transmission, xDrive50i eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive is standard. BMW X6 35i estimate that will switch from zero to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds. EPA fuel economy estimates stand at 16 mpg city/23 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined.
